Overview

Maryam Tabrizi is a litigation partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Maryam has extensive experience with large-scale litigation which enables her to navigate complex discovery issues while advancing key legal strategies. She counsels clients on preparing and advancing cost-reducing defensible discovery plans in areas including products liability, class action, antitrust, intellectual property and complex commercial litigation.

Maryam's experience includes appearing as counsel in multiple jurisdictions, taking and defending depositions, and successfully advancing all phases of litigation, including dispositive motion practice, trial strategy and post-trial guidelines. She is well versed in eDiscovery technologies and routinely offers her clients efficiencies while ensuring legal protections.

Having served as Discovery Counsel to a multinational healthcare company, Maryam is keenly aware of the discovery issues facing her corporate clients. She provides effective solutions at all stages of discovery and counsels clients on internal matters, information governance, retention policies, contractual disputes and government inquiries.
