Overview

Sara Shaw Tatum is of counsel in the Miami office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Sara’s practice focuses on legal issues in complex commercial litigation, including appellate and Supreme Court litigation. Sara has litigated contract and employment disputes, fiduciary obligations, warranties and bankruptcies, as well as antitrust, RICO and products liability matters. Sara also draws on her background in finance to litigate valuation disputes that proceed to trial.

Sara served as a law clerk to Associate Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh of the Supreme Court of the United States, Judge Laurence H. Silberman of the Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and Judge Richard J. Sullivan, then of the District Court for the Southern District of New York.
