Overview

Andre Teixeira is a partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Andre regularly advises sponsors, investment funds and financial institutions on a broad array of project finance transactions in the United States and Latin America. He has substantial experience in a wide spectrum of industries, including energy (wind, solar, hydro, nuclear and gas-to-power), infrastructure, transportation, natural resources and manufacturing, in and outside the United States.

Andre also has across-the-board experience in corporate, pre-export and acquisition finance transactions, mergers and acquisitions, negotiation of complex commercial and technology contracts, and foreign investment matters in Latin America. Andre is a New York and Brazilian trained attorney and fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.

Andre has been recognized by The Legal 500 Latin America as a “Rising Star” for Corporate and M&A (2023–2024), a “Key Person” for Project Financing (2023–2024) and a “Next Generation Partner” for Corporate and M&A (2022–2023).
