Overview

Patrick Valenti is an investment funds partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on structuring, negotiating, forming, marketing and operating private investment funds and related management companies, ranging from first-time sponsors to funds of over $5 billion across a wide range of strategies and structures. He has experience advising fund sponsors on a variety of operational and management issues, including firm governance, compensation, succession planning, employment and separation arrangements and regulatory compliance. Patrick has also counseled fund sponsors on spin-outs, co-investments, alternative investment vehicles, restructurings and fund related aspects of M&A transactions.
