Prior to joining Kirkland, Kyle was involved in the following matters:

• Counsel to individual defendant in criminal price-fixing case in federal district court. Secured dismissal of charges after prevailing on critical pre-trial motion.
• Counsel to technology company in DOJ Antitrust Division investigation.
• Second chair for multiweek arbitration hearing in commercial dispute. Obtained favorable outcome.
• Appellate monitoring counsel to technology company in high-stakes personal injury lawsuit in Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas.
• Member of trial team in commercial dispute in Pennsylvania state court involving claims of breach of fiduciary duty and unfair competition.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Kyle was involved in the following pro bono matters:

• In 2024, Kyle co-authored an amicus brief to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court urging the Court to expand Pennsylvania’s definition of parentage in a way that fully recognizes the rights of families who conceive through IVF and other assistive technologies. In adopting that expanded definition, the Court favorably cited the amicus brief multiple times.
• Also in 2024, Kyle argued a pro bono appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit involving a habeas petition on the ground of ineffective assistance of counsel.
