Overview

Ellie Wainstein is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses on complex commercial cases at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts across the country. She has represented clients in litigation matters across a broad array of subject areas, including class actions, oil and gas, false advertising and contracts.

She also has experience advising clients in connection with government and congressional investigations, including preparing senior executives for their appearances before Congress.

She is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, University of Cambridge and Claremont McKenna College
