Alexander is an associate in the Antitrust & Competition Team of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP based in London.
His practice focuses on the full range of EU and UK competition law matters, including merger control, antitrust investigations and cartels, as well as foreign direct investment (FDI) and UK National Security & Investment (“UK NSI”) matters across a broad range of industries. Alexander advises both private equity sponsors and public companies, and has a strong interest in the TMT, gaming & consumer goods sectors, as well as the growing regulation of technology companies around the world (including through the EU Digital Markets Act and proposed UK Digital Markets Unit).
Alexander is also particularly interested in the intersection between Intellectual Property (IP) and Competition Law, and has experience advising on competition elements of IP Litigation, as well as multi-billion dollar standard essential patent (“SEP”)/FRAND cases for some of the world’s largest technology companies.
Alexander works closely with Kirkland’s Brussels and other offices on cross-border matters.
