Alexander is an associate in Kirkland’s Antitrust & Competition Team, based in London and Brussels.
His practice focuses on the full range of EU and UK competition law matters, including merger control, antitrust investigations and antitrust compliance, as well as foreign direct investment (FDI) and UK National Security & Investment (UK NSI) across a broad range of industries. Alexander advises both private equity sponsors and public companies, and has a strong interest in the TMT, gaming & consumer goods sectors, as well as the growing regulation of technology companies around the world (e.g. EU Digital Markets Act and UK Digital Markets Consumers and Competition Bill).
Alexander is particularly interested in the intersection between Intellectual Property (IP) and Competition Law, and has experience advising on competition elements of IP Litigation, as well as multi-billion dollar standard essential patent (SEP)/FRAND cases for some of the world’s largest technology companies.
