Overview

Samuel Weber is a partner in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and a member of the Investment Funds Practice Group.

Samuel’s practice focuses on advising investment fund sponsors on a wide range of strategic and operational matters, including in connection with the formation, marketing and management of private investment funds, portfolio investment activities, and management and operational issues. Samuel has significant experience counseling both established and emerging sponsors across a wide range of investment strategies, as well as assisting sponsors in connection with negotiating and launching separately managed accounts, alternative investment vehicles, co-investment funds, insurance dedicated funds and other bespoke investment arrangements. His work ranges from advising established sponsors in connection with multi-billion dollar global fundraising mandates to guiding emerging managers through all aspects of establishing their operations and raising capital. Samuel has also represented a broad spectrum of institutional investors in negotiating fund terms and other considerations relating to various types of alternative investments.
