Overview

Andrew Wool is a corporate partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Andrew focuses his practice on structuring, negotiating and forming private equity, credit and real estate funds, as well as related general partner and management company structuring and advice.

Andrew also regularly represents institutional investors, including insurance companies, public and private pension plans, family offices, charities and healthcare organizations, investing in a broad array of asset classes through various types of investment vehicles and separately managed accounts.

Earlier in his career, Andrew represented creditors, asset purchasers, debtors and distressed debt investors in corporate bankruptcies, general litigation and out-of-court restructurings.
