Prior to joining Kirkland, Ece was involved in the following matters:

• Represented a leading developer of renewable power projects and energy storage solutions in connection with a $550 million credit facility to support further expansion of its solar and energy storage pipeline.
• Represented a North American power generation company in connection with its purchase of a 1,062 MW natural gas-fired generation facility in California and a 1,092 MW natural gas-fired generation facility in Arizona.
• Represented a lender with respect to a construction and term loan for a 400 MWac solar energy plus 144 MWac battery energy storage facility located in California, one of the largest solar and utility-scale battery energy storage projects.
• Represented a lender in connection with the construction and term financing for a 200MW/400 MWh standalone battery storage project located in Texas.
• Represented a global data center infrastructure company based in Australia with its capital raise with funding provided by a global credit-oriented asset manager.
• Represented a Texas-based private equity firm in the financing of its acquisition of a New-Jersey based organic waste recycling company and producer of compost, mulch and engineered soils.
• Represented a Chicago-based private equity firm investing in manufacturing and industrial technology in connection with the financing of its acquisition of a manufacturer of precision machined components.
• Represented a special purpose acquisition company in the completion of its business combination with a next-generation industrial gas supplier which seeks to be a leader in the sustainable energy transition.
