Huanbo Zeng is a debt finance partner in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on complex financing transactions in the energy and infrastructure sector. Huanbo represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies, developers, financial institutions, tax equity investors and other market participants in the development, acquisition and financing of energy and infrastructure projects. He has extensive experience with construction and term debt financings, acquisition financings, tax equity financings, back-leverage facilities, tax credit transfer bridge financings and other structured financings involving solar, wind, battery storage, transmission and other energy and infrastructure assets.

$3 billion construction, tax equity bridge and back-leverage financing for an approximately 900 MW wind farm located in the United States
$1.44 billion project financing for the Snowflake A solar plus battery storage project in Arizona (IJGlobal Renewables Deal of the Year, North America, 2025)
$1.71 billion financing for the Maricopa Energy Center located in Arizona
$299 million project financing for the Ratts 1 and Heirloom solar plus battery storage projects in Indiana (Proximo North America Solar Deal of the Year, 2025)
$1.24 billion financing for the Centennial Flats solar plus storage project located in Arizona (Proximo Deal of the Year, 2024)
$1.2 billion financing for the Harquahala solar plus storage project located in Arizona
$850 million tax equity investment in an approximately 893 MW wind, solar and battery storage portfolio
