Annie Zhao is a corporate associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and is a member of the Firm's Debt Finance Practice Group. She focuses her practice on advising corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors and other private and public companies on a variety of debt financing transactions, including cross-border and domestic acquisition financings, first and second lien credit facilities, middle market and large cap financings and restructuring transactions.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Annie was a corporate associate in the New York office of Paul Hastings LLP where her practice focused on representing banks, alternative lenders, investors and other financial institutions as arrangers, lenders and underwriters across a broad spectrum of corporate finance transactions, including secured and unsecured lending arrangements; leveraged, investment-grade and acquisition financings; cross-border and multi-currency financings; funds finance; debt restructurings; and recapitalizations. During her time at Paul Hastings LLP, she also completed a secondment with Veritas Capital.
