Lawyers for the Creative Arts honored Kirkland as its pro bono law firm of the year during the organization's annual benefit luncheon in Chicago. Since its founding in 1972, Lawyers for the Creative Arts has had one mission: to provide legal assistance to artists and arts organizations financially unable to retain legal counsel. Kirkland has assisted more than 50 LCA-referred clients since 2007. Ninety-five attorneys and 40 other members of the Firm's legal staff have contributed more than 6,500 hours to date.
