Americas M&A Atlas Middle Market Awards

Kirkland won three awards at the Americas M&A Atlas Middle Market Awards on November 19, 2010. The awards program honors top deals, dealmakers and A-list firms from the North and South American mergers and acquisitions, and private equity communities. Kirkland deals were selected from 870 eligible transactions.

Kirkland won top honors in the following categories:

• North America M&A Law Firm of the Year
• Technology Deal of the Year (deal size above $500 million): Thoma Bravo's acquisition of SonicWALL
• Americas M&A Deal of the Year (deal size above $500 million): Danaher's acquisition of AB Sciex joint venture
