ASIAN-MENA COUNSEL 2012 Deals of the Year

Four Kirkland transactions were included in ASIAN-MENA COUNSEL's "2012 Deals of the Year" report. Kirkland was recognized for its work on CITIC Securities Company Limited's acquisition of CLSA from Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank. Partner Nick Norris, counsel Steven Tran, and associates Joey Chau and Derek Poon represented CITIC on the winning deal. Three additional Kirkland deals received honorable mention, including TPV Technology Limited's acquisition of Koninklijke Philips Electronics N.V.'s TV business, Youku Inc.'s merger with Tudou Holdings Limited and Tronox Limited's acquisition of Exxaro Resources Limited's mineral sands operations.
