Above & Beyond Pro Bono Awards

Kirkland was honored for excellence in pro bono advocacy at the 13th annual Above & Beyond Awards in New York City on October 19. Kirkland partners Oliver Bennett and Esther Chiang and associates Ashley Eisenberg, Miae Woo and East Berhane were recognized for providing outstanding pro bono representation and advocacy. Kirkland was also honored for its leadership as a founding partner in a new initiative that provides pro bono staffing to New York City’s Human Trafficking Intervention Courts. Sanctuary for Families is the largest nonprofit in New York State dedicated to serving victims of domestic violence and sex trafficking.
