The American Lawyer Global Legal Awards 2019

The American Lawyer recognized Kirkland & Ellis in connection with the Global Legal Award for “Finance Deal of the Year” at the annual American Lawyer Industry Awards. The designation of “Finance Deal of the Year” was awarded to Seadrill Limited with regard to its multibillion-dollar financial restructuring; Kirkland represented Seadrill and certain of its direct and indirect subsidiaries in their multi-jurisdictional restructuring of approximately $20 billion of contract and debt obligations.
