HNBA Top Lawyers Under 40

The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) has named Kirkland & Ellis associate Erika López to its 2020 list of the “Top Lawyers Under 40.” The awards honor accomplished lawyers who have demonstrated professional excellence, integrity, leadership, commitment to the Hispanic community and dedication to improving the legal profession.

The HNBA noted that Erika was selected from a large pool of highly qualified candidates across the country and her professional achievements combined with an exceptional commitment to service set her apart.  The HNBA highlighted that Erika serves as an important leader of Kirkland’s diversity and inclusion initiatives and is active as a pro bono advocate. She was also recognized for her commitment to advancing opportunities for diverse attorneys outside of Kirkland, including serving as the founding member of Latino Lawyers of Cornell, Cornell Law School’s first Latino alumni association dedicated to promoting the advancement of Cornell’s Latino alumni.
