China M&A Awards 2020

Mergermarket named Kirkland & Ellis “Private Equity Legal Adviser of the Year (in conjunction with AVCJ)” at its 2020 China M&A Awards. Additionally, the Firm was awarded “Private Equity Deal of the Year” for its efforts in the take-private of 58.com. Kirkland acted as international co-counsel for an investor consortium comprising Warburg Pincus Asia LLC, General Atlantic Singapore Fund Pte. Ltd., Ocean Link Partners Limited, and Mr. Jinbo Yao, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of 58.com in the deal. The China M&A Awards honor the best in the region for creative advisory work on complex transactions.
