Top Women Lawyers 2020

The Daily Journal named Kirkland & Ellis capital markets partner Pippa Bond and M&A/private equity partner Monica Shilling to its 2020 list of “Top Women Lawyers.” The publication highlighted Pippa’s work on a number of retail restructurings, including Neiman Marcus, Tailored Brands and Stage Stores. Meanwhile, the publication highlighted Monica’s work in the area of business development companies (BDCs), closed-end investment companies that help small and midsize companies meet their capital needs, while being subject to unique federal regulation and tax structures.
