The Asian Lawyer awarded Kirkland & Ellis “Finance Deal of the Year: Acquisitions” and “TMT Deal of the Year” at the 2021 Asia Legal Awards. The Firm was recognized for its work in the $3.5 billion leveraged financing in the $8.7 billion take-private of 58.com Inc., which won “Finance Deal of the Year: Acquisitions.” Additionally, Jio Platforms’ $20 billion fundraising was named “TMT Deal of the Year.”
