Top Verdicts & Settlements of the Northeast 2020

The New York Law Journal recognized Kirkland & Ellis in its annual list of the “Top Verdicts & Settlements of the Northeast.” The Firm was recognized for obtaining a unanimous jury verdict for client TriZetto and its parent, Cognizant Technology Solutions, holding that competitor Syntel, Inc. misappropriated more than 100 of TriZetto’s trade secrets and awarding more than $850 million in damages. The case (Syntel Sterling Best Shores Mauritius Limited, et al. v. The Trizetto Group, Inc., et al.) was ranked #1 in NYLJ’s list of the top 25 Northeast verdicts and settlements of 2020.
