Americas Tax Awards 2021
International Tax Review honored Kirkland & Ellis with six awards at the 16th annual Americas Tax Awards. Kirkland was named “Chicago Tax Firm of the Year” for the fifth year in a row and “New York Tax Firm of the Year” for the second-straight year. The Firm was also newly named as “San Francisco & the Bay Area Tax Firm of the Year.” Kirkland also received “Impact Deal of the Year” awards for its work on the following:
- AbbVie’s acquisition of Allergan
- Gardner Denver’s Reverse Morris Trust combination with Ingersoll-Rand's industrial division
- Neiman Marcus restructuring
The awards recognize the most innovative firms and individual providers of tax services in the Americas over the past year.
