Dealmakers of the Year 2023

The American Lawyer selected Kirkland & Ellis among its 2023 “Dealmakers of the Year.” The Firm – and, in particular, corporate partners Doug Bacon and Roald Nashi – were selected for their work representing Brookfield Infrastructure Partners L.P. (NYSE: BIP; TSX: BIP.UN) on its definitive agreement with Intel Corp. to jointly fund Intel’s under-construction semiconductor fabrication facility in Chandler, Arizona with Brookfield investing up to $15 billion for a 49 percent stake in Intel’s manufacturing expansion.

Honorees are recognized for creative lawyering to novel issues of law in the deals that mattered most in 2022.
