International Tax Review Americas Tax Awards 2023

International Tax Review honored Kirkland & Ellis with eight awards at the 18th annual Americas Tax Awards. The Firm was named “USA Tax Firm of the Year” for a second-straight year, “Chicago Tax Firm of the Year” for a seventh-straight year, “New York Tax Firm of the Year” for a fourth-straight year, “Los Angeles Tax Firm of the Year” for a second-straight year and “San Francisco Tax Firm of the Year” for a second time.

Kirkland also received “Impact Deal of the Year” awards for its work on the following:

•  Archaea Energy Inc. on its sale to bp p.l.c.
•  KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) on its acquisition of CyrusOne Inc.
•  Advent International and Permira Advisors on its acquisition of McAfee Corp.

The awards recognize the most innovative firms and individual providers of tax services in the Americas over the past year.
