Top Hollywood Dealmakers 2023

The Hollywood Reporter named Kirkland & Ellis corporate partners Ed Lee and Jonathan Davis to its 2023 list of “Hollywood’s Top Dealmakers.” The list honors the nation’s top 35 partners involved in some of the year’s most interesting and multi-figured deals.

Ed and Jonathan were recognized for their involvement in the merger of Endeavor Group Holdings’ UFC and WWE for Vince McMahon, creating a company valued at $21+ billion. The deal was a “once-in-a-lifetime merger” that “reshape[d] an entire industry,” according to Lee.
