PEI Fund Formation League Table 2022-2023

Private Equity International recognized Kirkland & Ellis atop its second annual “Fund Formation League Table.” The Firm ranked #1 on the list by both aggregate value ($206 billion) and number of funds (131), more than three times the next leading law firm by total number of fund formations and more than twice the next leading law firm in terms of capital raised. This marks the second time in as many years Kirkland ranked atop PEI’s Fund Formation League Table.

The PEI Fund Formation League Table covers blind pool private equity funds and continuation funds that had a final close date between October 1, 2022 and September 30, 2023.
