Kirkland's SideTrack Platform Recognized at 2024 Drawdown Awards
The Drawdown honored Kirkland & Ellis in the “Legal Technology” category as part of its 2024 Awards program. The Firm was recognized for its SideTrack platform, an internally-developed, first-of-its-kind software platform created specifically for investment funds attorneys to help manage side letter provisions, and administer the Most Favored Nation (MFN) election process. SideTrack combines sophisticated automation with specialized tools to help attorneys compile and analyze thousands of side letter provisions, automatically generate MFN documentation (often hundreds of pages in length) and track thousands of individual investor elections, all with unprecedented speed and accuracy.
Kirkland Investment Funds team addresses the legal, regulatory, tax and commercial challenges facing a diverse group of investment fund clients, ranging from some of the world’s largest alternative-asset managers and financial institutions to independent boutiques and first-time fund sponsors. In addition, we represent an array of leading institutional investors throughout the world, including sovereign wealth funds, family offices, corporations and other participants in private funds.
Drawdown Awards winners were chosen by a panel of judges consisting of senior market participants, including chief financial officers, chief operating officers, heads of technology and general counsels at private equity firms.
