Kirkland Takes Home Two “Deal of the Year” Awards at ALB China Awards 2025
Asian Legal Business (ALB) honored Kirkland with two “Deal of the Year” awards at the ALB China Awards 2025, which celebrate the law firms whose work in the region stood out in the past year.
The Firm received the following awards:
- M&A Deal of the Year – Premium: Strategic Merger Between Guotai Junan and Haitong Securities. Kirkland led UBS AG in its role as financial adviser on the merger and share exchange between Guotai Junan Securities and Haitong Securities.
- M&A Deal of the Year – Midsize: Edding Group and Genor Biopharma Reverse Takeover. Kirkland is leading biopharmaceutical company Edding Group’s merger and reverse takeover with Genor Biopharma.
