Kirkland Honored at GCR Awards

Global Competition Review recognized Kirkland with “Merger Control Matter of the Year for the Americas” honors at the 16th annual GCR Awards, which recognized the most complex deals and cases from 2025, as well as leading firms and standout individuals. The Firm represented UnitedHealth Group (UHG) in a Department of Justice (DOJ) enforcement action against UHG’s $3.3 billion acquisition of Amedisys, which the DOJ approved in August 2025 and which closed in September 2025.
