Kirkland’s Energy & Infrastructure Practice Recognized at IJGlobal’s Americas Awards

IJGlobal honored Kirkland with seven awards at the 2025 Americas Awards, which spotlights standout deals across the energy and infrastructure industry.

Kirkland was selected for leading the following “Transactions of the Year” for 2025:

1.  BESS Deal of the Year: Intersect Power’s tax equity financing and tax credit sales for the Quantum solar plus storage project in Texas.

2.  LNG Deal of the Year: Global Infrastructure Partners’ investment in the fourth liquefaction train and related infrastructure at Rio Grande LNG. 

3.  Market Impact Award: Blue Owl Capital’s joint venture with Meta to finance the approximately $27 billion development of the Hyperion data center campus.

4.  Midstream Deal of the Year: I Squared Capital’s financing of the Blackcomb and Traverse pipeline systems. 

5.  Power Deal of the Year: Blackstone and Kindle Energy’s construction/term loan facility and working capital and letter-of-credit facility to support the construction and operation of Kindle’s Wolf Summit project.

6.  Refinance Deal of the Year: Blackstone-backed Champlain Hudson Power Express’ senior secured notes offering. 

7.  Renewables Deal of the Year: Clēnera Holdings’ debt financing for a solar plus battery storage project in Arizona.
