Partner Athina Van Melkebeke Named a “Rising Star” by Law.com International

Law.com International recognized Kirkland partner Athina Van Melkebeke in its 2026 list of “Rising Stars: The UK Legal Industry's Best Up-And-Coming Women.” Athina was honored for leading Bain Capital’s approximately $10 billion acquisition of joint control over PCI Pharma, as well as for her instrumental role in building Kirkland’s European antitrust and foreign investment practice.
