Nine Partners Named to Variety’s Legal Impact Report

Variety recognized Kirkland partners Dale Cendali, Joshua Simmons, Miranda Means and Yungmoon Chang, and Maggie Flores, Sarkis Jebejian, Lee Blum, Adam Shapiro and Josh Korff in its 2026 “Legal Impact Report,” which highlights the attorneys advising on the media and entertainment industry’s most impactful matters.

Dale, Joshua, Miranda and Yungmoon were honored for securing a precedent-setting ruling for Thomson Reuters in a landmark case against Ross Intelligence regarding copyright infringement related to AI-generated content.

Maggie, Sarkis, Lee, Adam and Josh were honored for leading the investor consortium of PIF, Silver Lake and Affinity Partners on its $55 billion acquisition of Electronic Arts, the largest take-private investment in history.
