Partner Shellie Freedman Named a “New York Power Lawyer” by The Hollywood Reporter

The Hollywood Reporter recognized Kirkland partner Shellie Freedman on its 2026 list of “New York Power Lawyers,” which highlights the city’s top entertainment attorneys based on the impact of their cases, the profiles of their clients and their reputation for success.

Shellie was selected for leading Warner Bros. Discovery’s plan to divide into two companies (including securing a $17.5 billion loan to shore up its balance sheet) and Virgin Music Group’s acquisition of Downtown Music Holdings.
