Partner Mark Holscher Earns “Distinguished Counsel” Honor from the Daily Journal

The Daily Journal named Kirkland partner Mark Holscher to its 2026 “Distinguished Counsel” list, recognizing his 18 years on the publication’s list of “California’s Top 100 Lawyers.” The recognition places Mark among a select group of California lawyers honored for their accomplishments and lasting impact over the past two decades.

Mark is a litigation partner in Kirkland’s Los Angeles office and a former Assistant U.S. Attorney with extensive first-chair trial experience in some of the nation’s most significant civil and criminal matters. His practice spans securities class actions, environmental and public nuisance litigation, private equity disputes, False Claims Act investigations, commercial litigation, and other high-stakes matters.  

Mark’s recent representations include litigation arising from the Boyle Heights warehouse fire, commercial disputes involving Hollywood Park and SoFi Stadium, shareholder litigation stemming from a global technology outage, a multibillion-dollar dispute involving recovered Bitcoin seized by the federal government, and confidential cybersecurity and health care False Claims Act matters.
