Kirkland & Ellis Adds HSR Expert To Antitrust Practice

"[Ellen] Jakovic joined Kirkland's Washington D.C. office on Monday as a partner in the firm's antitrust and competition practice. She had previously coordinated White & Case's merger notification practice and advised clients regarding complex international transactions and joint ventures.

Jakovic said she decided to join Kirkland because of its terrific antitrust and merger practice, which includes many private equity clients involved in complex transactions.

'The volume of filings that Kirkland does is among the largest in the country and the complexity of matters in deals they work are really, really interesting,' Jakovic said. 'And it's a great group of people. I'm very excited to join this antitrust practice.' "
