Buyout Industry Urged to Move on AIFM

"Lisa Cawley, a partner at law firm Kirkland & Ellis, said: 'This has been a heavy week for the private equity industry.

'On AIFM the industry really needs to engage now on what may be the last opportunity to influence the eventual outcome.

'There are a number of significant differences between what is proposed by the Council and Parliament, and some of what is proposed could be very damaging to the industry.'"
