Kirkland Counsels Lenders on Financing of Guernsey Power Project
Kirkland & Ellis advised the lenders on the financing for the approximately 1,875 megawatt Guernsey natural-gas-fueled electric generation facility in Ohio. The $1.075 billion financing was led by Investec Bank. Caithness Energy was the sponsor, with BlackRock providing preferred equity and AMP Capital providing mezzanine debt for the project.
