What's Behind the SPAC Boom?

Kirkland partner Christian Nagler spoke with The New York Times’ DealBook regarding the recent boom in special purpose acquisition companies (SPACs).

“In the life-sciences industry, where SPACs have ‘nearly replaced late-stage financing and I.P.O.s,’ warrants have come down to zero in some deals, said Christian Nagler, a partner in the capital markets practice at the law firm Kirkland & Ellis.”
