Kirkland Leads Mergermarket's H1 2026 European Buyouts and Exits League Tables

Kirkland & Ellis ranked first for sponsor-backed European buyouts by both value and deal count, and first for European exits by value in Mergermarket’s H1 2026 legal adviser league tables.

During the first half of 2026, Kirkland advised on 22 sponsor-backed European buyout transactions with an aggregate value over $44 billion.

Kirkland also led the European exits rankings by value, advising on nine transactions with a combined value of more than $51 billion.
