International Association of Outsourcing Professionals Holds Chicago Chapter Launch Event at Kirkland & Ellis LLP

The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP), the first global outsourcing professional membership organization, will launch its Chicago chapter on July 28 at a reception hosted by Kirkland & Ellis LLP.  The event will be held at Kirkland's Chicago office, located in the Aon Center at 200 E. Randolph Drive, at 3:30 p.m. This inaugural meeting will include an overview of the organization, a presentation about the impact of Sarbanes-Oxley on outsourcing, and a discussion of chapter goals and future meeting topics. 

The featured speaker is John Gimpert, a partner at Deloitte & Touche and co-lead of their Midwest region's Sarbanes-Oxley/Corporate Governance practice. Neil Hirshman, Kirkland partner and IAOP Chicago chapter chair, Michael Corbett, executive director of the IAOP, and Chris Disher, vice president, Booz Allen Hamilton, founding member of IAOP and executive committee member, will also speak at the event.
