Kirkland & Ellis LLP's Intellectual Property Practice Group was honored with the Award for Excellence in IP Litigation from international rating firm Chambers & Partners at its annual Chambers USA Awards dinner held June 11, 2009, in New York.
Kirkland was selected from seven finalists, including Irell & Manella LLP; Keker & Van Nest LLP; Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker LLP; Quinn Emanuel Urquhart Oliver & Hedges, LLP; Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP; and WilmerHale.
In Chambers USA, America's Leading Lawyers for Business 2009, Chambers said, "The huge commitment this firm has made to its national IP litigation practice is very much in evidence.
