Kirkland & Ellis International LLP advised Corporate Executive Board (CEB) on the partial acquisition of Baumgartner & Partner Unternehmensberatung. The value of the transaction is confidential. Baumgartner & Partner (www.baumgartner.de), with headquarters in Hamburg, Germany, is a consultancy firm active in human resources strategy, operational excellence, talent and performance management and human resources benchmarking services. This is the first acquisition by CEB in Germany. The Kirkland team consisted of corporate partner Dr. Jörn Schnigula and tax partner Dr. Roderic Pagel, with corporate associates Dr. Daniel Wied and Bernhard Guthy.
