Kirkland & Ellis Represents Windjammer Capital Investors in Final Closing of $726 Million Fund IV

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented Windjammer Capital Investors, a leading private investment firm, which yesterday announced it completed fundraising for Windjammer Senior Equity Fund IV with capital commitments in excess of $726 million. Fund IV's committed capital, which exceeds Windjammer's fundraising target and Fund III's $574 million of committed capital, is provided by a diverse group of institutional investors, including U.S. state and city pension plans, global private equity fund of funds, leading corporate pension programs and European government institutions.

The Kirkland team that represented Windjammer is led by private funds partner Chris Kallos and includes private funds partner Justin Solomon, tax partner Donald Rocap, investment management partner Nabil Sabki, employee benefits partner Laura Bader and corporate associate Seth Fishman.
