Kirkland Counsels Thompson Street Capital Partners on Fund IV Closing with $640M in Commitments

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Thompson Street Capital Partners, a St. Louis-based private equity firm focused on investing in middle market founder-led businesses, on the closing of its latest private equity fund, TSCP IV, with $640 million in commitments. The fundraising commenced in September 2015 and closed in December 2015. The fund’s total commitments of $640 million exceeded the fund’s target of $500 million and the original hard cap of $600 million. The full release can be found here.
