Kirkland acted for Bain on its GBP1.4 billion leveraged buyout of Brakes from Clayton, Dubliner & Rice Inc in 2007 and has subsequently advised the portfolio company on its acquisition of the Davigel Group, its joint venture with Fresh Direct and a number of refinancings.
