Kirkland Represents TPG Capital on Acquisition of Transplace

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised TPG Capital, the global private equity platform of alternative asset firm TPG, on its acquisition of Transplace, the leading provider of transportation management and other third-party logistics services, from Greenbriar Equity Group, a private equity firm that focuses exclusively on the global transportation industry. The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The transaction is expected to close in September 2017 and is subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
