Kirkland Represents Vista Equity Partners on Sale of Marketo for $4.75 Billion

Kirkland & Ellis LLP advised Vista Equity Partners, a leading private equity firm focused on investments in software, data and technology-enabled businesses, on the sale of Marketo, Inc., the leading provider of engagement marketing software and solutions, to Adobe Systems Incorporated in a transaction announced today and valued at $4.75 billion. The Kirkland team was led by corporate partners Stuart Casillas and Abtin Jalali. Morgan Stanley served as financial advisor to Marketo, Inc.
