Kirkland Represents KKR in $493 Million Takeover Offer for Telepizza

Kirkland & Ellis is representing KKR in launching its takeover offer for Spain’s TelePizza Group SA at a price of €6 per share. KKR currently owns a 28.565 percent slice of TelePizza and is seeking to acquire and delist the company. The transaction was announced on December 21, 2018.

The Kirkland team was led by London-based transactional partners Gavin Gordon and Aprajita Dhundia and associates Laura Lee Timko and Jamie Gordon; debt finance partners Sam Norris and Evgeny Zborovsky and associates Lloyd Jones, Eva Lee and Dinush Wickremanayake; capital markets partner Matt Merkle and associate Morgan Hill; and tax partners Dulcie Daly and Mark Ingram.
