Kirkland Represents Warburg Pincus in Agreement with Kayne Anderson to Provide $1 Billion Equity Commitment to WildFire Energy

Kirkland & Ellis advised funds affiliated with leading global private equity firm Warburg Pincus which, along with management and the Kayne Private Energy Income Funds, has agreed to provide WildFire Energy with an equity commitment exceeding $1 billion. WildFire is focused on the acquisition and development of oil and gas assets with significant existing production and intends to pursue onshore acquire-and-exploit opportunities throughout the Lower 48.
